Depicting “‘inner landscapes” has always been Penelope Stutterheime's preoccupation. Drawing inspiration from dreams and the unconscious, her layered and textured paintings make use of intensely vibrant colour to create mesmerising abstract works.
For her first solo exhibition at Everard Read London, Stutterheime has made 10 new paintings which form part of her Merging series.
