Teniqua Crawford's limited edition bronze sculpture, Meditation was displayed at Karl Lagerfeld's iconic Saint-Germain-des-Prés apartment in Paris this January. The space was curated by Bel Ouvrage for Maison & Objet and Paris Déco Off, for Paris Design Week. 

Once serving as Karl Lagerfeld's private apartment, the space transformed into in intimate backdrop for Crawford's work to interact with the historic interior. 

Displayed alongside Julian Drach's photography of ancient sculpture, Crawford's work feels both classical and cutting edge. This edition of Meditation was finished with a new slate patina, evoking 'ancient modernity' and the tension between the feminine form and masculine slate quality.
